Pinot Grigio is a wonderfully ambiguous member of the Pinot grape family. Other members include Pinot Noir, the revered red-wine grape of Burgundy, and Pinot Blanc, the lesser known white-wine variety that is widely planted around the globe. Pinot Grigio is seemingly torn between it cousins, producing grape bunches that have a touch of red colour and a mix of lighter and darker berries.

An elegant dry, light-bodied, refreshing wine. Aromas and flavours of green apple, pear, white peach, pink grapefruit, cantaloupe and tangerine. Its vibrant acidity will make your mouth water! Best Serving Temperatures 6°to 9° C

Winemaker Notes
The grapes were sourced from one vineyard located in Niagara-on-the-Lake with some from vines more than 20 years old. A little skin contact during the process of harvesting, crushing and pressing, developed a light amber tone in the wine. The juice was fermented strictly in stainless steel to allow the full expression of the fruit. character and retention of the brisk refreshing palate.
Food Pairing Notes
Match the wine's intensity of flavour, full mouthfeel and refreshing acidity with Mac n Cheese (sharp cheddar and a little blue cheese), Linguine Carbonera or pasta of your choice. Equally good with salmon and chicken (roasted in the oven or grilled on the BBQ). A great match with salads.
