Our belief in Riesling as an ideal varietal for the Niagara region has been borne out for more than 20 years. Terroir Rieslings are always the driest of the three Rieslings we produce, allowing the vibrant acidity to really shine. The 2019 vintage is no exception with fresh citrus, ripe fruit, wet-stone minerality and a fine mouth-watering acidity on a luscious palate.

Tasting Notes
Crisp, refreshing and fruity. Harmonized aromas and flavours of flowers, green apple, citrus (lime, lemon and grapefruit) and stone fruit (peach and nectarine). Crisp, zesty acidity and a lingering finish.
Winemaker Notes
Produced from fruit harvested October, 2019 from a top Niagara-on-the-Lake Riesling vineyard. The juice was fermented in a stainless steel tank using a specialty yeast at cooler temperatures. The ferment was arrested at 8.2 g/L residual sugar and 12.1% alcohol, which allowed the racy acidity and wet stone-minerality to balance the lush citrus/fleshy stone fruit traits. The wine was cold and heat stabilized before being bottled through a sterile filter under screw cap.

Where to start? Riesling is arguably the best food wine with its cleansing acidity. Match flavours with everything from Hawaiian pizza to seafood and in-season fruit salads. Or provide a refreshing contrast to rich or creamy dishes.
