2018 LIMITED Cabernet Sauvignon French Oak
In Stock
The 2018 vintage was full of promise during the summer then suffered from too much warm, wet weather in the fall. Using the carefully-managed Home Farm Cabernet Sauvignon fruit, Marc Bradshaw was able to produce a beautifully balanced and textured, medium-bodied wine that is ready to enjoy now.

Wine Profile
Tasting Notes
Dark fruit profile with blackberry, black currant and cassis notes alongside spice and molasses. On the palate, notes of darker fruits supported by a hint of dark chocolate, mocha and coffee. Fine, structured tannins showing the character of the vintage.
Winemaker Notes
Fruit harvested October 29, 2018 from the 20-year old Cabernet Sauvignon vines on the Home Farm at an outstanding 25 Bx. The berries were crushed to small batch open bins for primary and malolactic fermentation with daily pigeage (punch down). Following 19 months of maturation in oak, three new French barrels, which highlighted the depth of the Home Farm, were blended.
