The International Cool Climate Chardonnay Celebration plays an important role in raising awareness of this fabulous varietal and how well suited it is to Niagara's climate and growing conditions. While we won't have the opportunity to meet many guests in person this year, we are releasing two of our 2018 vintage Terroir Chardonnays to you before they are available in store and online later this year.

Strewn is thrilled to be participating once again in i4C and July would not be July without the opportunity to celebrate all things Chardonnay!

The 2018 Terroir Chardonnay Canadian Oak ($35) has already earned a Silver Medal at the Chardonnay du Monde competition in France, while the 2018 Terroir Chardonnay French Oak ($32) was awarded a Bronze Medal at the International Wine Challenge. Both are extremely small lot production and reflect the vintage, express the Niagara-on-the-Lake terroir, and showcase the unique contributions of either French and Canadian oak barrels on the taste profile of the wines.
