2021 TwoVines Riesling Gewurztraminer
In Stock
Two distinctly different grapes harmonize beautifully. Fruit and floral flavours mesh seamlessly with Riesling's refreshing acidity and Gewurztraminer's smooth richness in this semi-dry wine.

Wine Profile
Tasting Notes
The typical Gewurztraminer aromas of roses and baking spices and flavours of lychee and mango fit nicely with the citrus, stone fruit, green apple and minerality of the Riesling. The refreshing sharpness of the Riesling is mellowed by the softness of Gewurztraminer making a heavenly match.
Winemaker Notes
The Gewurztraminer grapes ripened first (the early part of October) and the Riesling grapes were pricked later, near the end of October, with higher acidity and a sweetness of 19 to 21 Brix. The two varieties are separately crushed, pressed and fermented at cool temperatures in stainless steel tanks, and the final blend is made shortly before bottling.
